信托投资为何设立百万元门槛

因信托项目风险暴露而引发的投资者纠纷，现已不是什么新鲜事。作为一种具有较高风险和收益的投资方式，信托投资有着相应的门槛要求。它要求投资者具备一定的风险识别和承受能力。

我国现代信托业恢复于1979年。当时，信托更像是‘金融百货公司,从最初的银行规避信贷计划管理的工具，到地方政府融资的渠道，信托公司的业务涉及委托投资、信托贷款、资金拆借、证券承销等多种业务。正由于信托公司的业务多而杂，且无明确定位，发展中才乱象丛生。随着2001年颁布实施《信托法》及2002年颁布《信托投资公司管理办法》、《信托投资公司资金信托管理暂行办法》，我国信托业明确了“受人之托，代人理财”的定位。当时规定，接受委托人的资金信托合同不得超过200份，每份合同金额不得低于人民币5万元，这是集合资金信托计划最初的门槛设定。

基于更好地保护投资者特别是个人投资者的利益，2007年，新“两规”即《信托公司管理办法》、《信托公司集合资金信托计划管理办法》实施，信托投资的门槛也从5万元提高到100万元。较高的门槛也意味着更高的风险承受能力。

不过，信托计划属于私募性质的高风险金融产品，社会大众对其风险认知度不高。

信托产品有很多分类，投资领域不同，其风险也不一样。比如，私募股权投资类、期货类等信托项目风险相对较高；基础设施信托、房地产信托属债权型模式，且一般有抵押物，较股权投资类信托风险偏低些。

过去，信托项目由于责任界定不清，信托公司也存在盲目冒进的问题，在风险事件发生时往往承受了与收益不匹配的压力，随着信托公司受托责任日渐明确，信托公司在风险事件中的权责划分也会更加清晰。
